RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substance. This is a directive put forth by the European Union which states that from July 1, 2006 new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
RoHS compliments the Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive.
Are Westmont static elimination brushes RoHS compliant? Westmont Inc. currently has over 500 active antistatic brush part numbers. All of these static elimination brushes are compliant with the current revision of the European RoHS directive (2002/95/EU).
